Reflex Math – Congratulations! Lindsay D. is the second student this year to reach 100% fluency in Reflex Math. That means he knows all of his multiplication facts! Lindsay wins a Journey T-Shirt and one Free PAC lunch for his academic excellence. Other students are very close to reaching this goal too. Remember you can access this program at home too.

PAC information from Journey PAC President Teresa Mason:

Everyone is welcome to attend the next PAC meeting on November 10th at 7pm in Journey’s Annie Acreman Library. Journey’s Halloween Dance is coming up on October the 29th from 6:30-8:30. PAC is looking for volunteers to help out with concession and glow sales. Anyone wanting to help out please email Teresa mason92@telus.net

Every Wednesday PAC provides the students with opportunity to purchase hot lunch on a rotation of pizza $3.00, subs $3.50 and hot dogs $2.00/sushi $5.00 as well as a variety of beverages and snack items $.50-2.00. For your convenience we do have Lunch Punch Cards for sale in the school office for $20. The cards have increments of $.50-$2.00 and will be punched as the student spends. Monday

Federal Elections – polls are open 7 am – 7 pm. The results of the student polling station will be revealed on Tuesday morning.

Imagination Studio –lunch in the Project Room

Japan Meeting – This meeting is for students who have signed up and for all who are interested in travelling to Japan in March 2016. 7 pm library. Come find out more about the trip and enjoy some traditional tea and goodies.

Picture Retake Day – Students can have their pictures re-taken today or if they missed having their picture done earlier in the year. If you would like to purchase a package, forms are available in the office.

Power of Being a Girl – A group of our students are taking part today in activities that inspire and challenge girls in our community.

Professional Development Day – no school for students. The office will be open 8-4.
