Change for Diabetes Campaign begins today – Classes will have two weeks to bring in loose change (bills are accepted too) to help the Sooke Harbourside Lions Club raise money for Juvenile Diabetes. The class that can collect the most money wins a pizza party.

Tuesday

Lockdown Drill 10:15 – 10:45 the school will be locked and phones will not be answered as we practice our lockdown drill. You will not be able to leave or enter the school during this time.

Movember – Wear your best mustache today and raise awareness for prostrate cancer!

Global Action Staff vs. students B-Ball Game today at lunch in the gym. Tickets are $1 each and all proceeds go to the Sooke Food Bank.

“CHESS, CHESS, CHESS” – The Journey Chess Club is up and running. It meets every Wednesday at Lunch in the Project Room next to the Main Computer Lab with Mr. Bryan. The focus is on fun and learning the fine art of chess play in a calm, kind and non-competitive environment.
