It was wonderful to see so many families out for Meet the Teacher night on Tuesday. Congratulations to our door prize winners of free school supplies (parents) for next year and a tablet (student). There are a lot of events happening at Journey this week so students are encouraged to listen to announcements and check the website.

Retirement of Art/French Teacher, Mrs. Joanna Amundrud. Today Mrs. Amundrud will wash the paint brushes, turn off the kiln and straighten the construction paper for the very last time. We know she will walk out of Journey Middle School with mixed emotions knowing she has dedicated many years to thousands of students, but also leaving the new students she has already made connections with this year. We wish her well as she begins the next chapter of her life which she tells us will be full of art, grandchildren and fun. Bon Voyage Madame!
