Home / About / What can I Wear to School?

One way in which students help create a good image is to dress and groom themselves in appropriate styles.  In this School District, and at Journey Middle School, styles which make a student unsightly and conspicuous to the point of causing a disturbance, are actively discouraged.

Hats are allowed to be worn in the hallways; however not in the classrooms, unless the classroom teacher approves. Clothing with lewd or suggestive messages, suggest illegal drugs or promoting alcohol are not appropriate in school.  Also, any clothes that promote bullying or hatred toward others will not be allowed.  Students wearing them to school will be asked to change into something appropriate. Students should dress appropriately for school by wearing clothes that are comfortable.
